MES Ponnani College Alumni Association is the registered alumni association of the institution, which strives to enrich a lasting bond between old students and their alma mater. The Alumni Association of the institution functions as a two-tier system- at the institutional level and the departmental level. Every outgoing student is enrolled in this association. Besides the institutional alumni association, all the departments have their own alumni chapters. All alumni association and chapters enthusiastically involve in the developmental activities of the institution. The institutional alumni association is having its overseas chapters in Abu Dhabi (MESPO), Dubai (MESPA) and Oman (OMESPA). NCC has a separate alumni chapter.

Snehaveedu

15/12/2019

The house was build under the project titled 'Snehaveedu' for the poor student by the alumni association. Prof. Kadavanad Mohammed (Treasurer, MES, Kerala) handed over the key to the house. Alumni Association has taken up the project coinciding with the golden jubilee celebrations of the college. Mr. Abdul Azeez Mullapoo (President, Alumni Association), Mr. Nasimudeen Kottarampattiyil (Secretary, Alumni Association), Mr. Muhammed Kunchi (Chairman, Ponnani Municipality), Mr. O.C Salahudeen (District president, MES) have participated in the function.

Ponnala 2018 (Grand Alumni meet)

On the occasion of MES Ponnani college celebrating its 50th golden jubilee year, the Grand Alumni meet (Ponnala 2018) was conducted on 11 August 2018 at college campus. Over 1200 alumni from different batches assembled at the college and celebrated their reunion. The function was inaugurated by P. Sreeramakrishnan, MLA, Speaker of Kerala Legislative Assembly. The honourable municipal chairman Mr. C.P Muhammed Kunchi has given the Presidential address. Honourable Member of Parliament of Ponnani constituency Mr. E. T. Mohammed Basheer has graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The keynote address was given by ADV. M. K. Sakeer, Alumnus and Chairman of Kerala Public Service Commission. The event was graced by Guest of Honour Mr. Mamooty MLA, Bava Chelladurai (Tamil writer and actor) and Rohini (Film actress). Prof Kadavanad Mohammed, Prof. MM Narayanan, Prof. V.K Baby, Mr. U Unnikrishan and Mr. Sanakaranarayan offered felicitations on the occasion. Mr. Riyas P (Convenor, Ponnala 2018) welcomed the audience and the Secretary of alumni association Mr. Abdul Nafih has given the vote of thanks. The alumni members also shared their memories in the event. During the meet retired teachers were honoured.
