Our college started B. Sc. Programme in Computer Science in the academic year 1999-2000 with an intake of 24 students. The programme had an increase in the intake of students from 24 to 34 in the academic year 2008-2009. In the academic year 2010-2011, the program was regularized and was sanctioned aided status by the Government. B. Sc. Computer Science programme had an increase in the intake of students from 34 to 36 in the academic year 2016 to 2017. Department started UG Career Oriented Add On Courses on Office Automation in the year 2015- 2016. Our department also offers various short term certificate courses to the students of other departments. Our B. Sc Computer Science programme aims at equipping the learners to stand up to the competitive and changing world and to meet the spiraling demand of the IT industry. The department offers many activities such as invited talks, industrial visits, project assistance, quiz competition etc. for enhancing the students’ self learning capability.
